TOURIST ATTRACTIONS IN VISAKHAPATNAM
Feeling the breeze of sea.... it's must an experience to be felt..!
I always think, a coastal city/town without a beach is like watching a 3D film without the 3D glasses. It is quite impossible, isn't it..?
Here in this one, I just want to share the information related to the beaches in Visakhapatnam.
Looking for a place to spend some quality time with your best ones..? Wanna feel the fresh air, breeze...? Are you a nature lover..?
Here we go.... Places(Beaches) you shouldn't miss visiting....
RUSHIKONDA BEACH:
This particular place has a special name 'Jewel of the East Coast', and it is one of the most scenic places in the city.
Rushikonda beach will be the best pick when it comes to sightseeing.
It is also a great spot to just sit and let the cool waves tickle your feet and you can also find adventure activities like Surfing, Jet Skiing and some water rides.
RK BEACH:
This beach has the longest sea front in the city.
It is located at a distance of 4-5 km from the railway station.
If you have a list of places to visit in Visakhapatnam, then it must be in your preferable top 5.
You can always spend some quality time here.
This beach is also a place for various events like Visakha Utsav, Navy Day and an annual fest organised by State's cultural department.
If you are a nature lover, then you'll have the chance to watch the stunning sunset here.

YARADA BEACH:
This is a serene and calm beach.
Yarada beach is actually surrounded by hills on the three sides and the fourth is lined by the Bay of Bengal.
Comparing with the other beaches, it is much calmer and peaceful.
You will be having a memorable time here at this beach with its crystal clear water and golden sands.
You can be able to watch a better sunrise and sunset with a perfect view.
As this beach is at a distance of 17-18km from the city's railway station, you will find a limited crowd in the early hours of sunrise and also in the late hours of sunset.
THOTLAKONDA BEACH:
I am afraid why most of the people won't suggest this place to the newcomers. But trust me, this place has developed a lot in the recent years. Thotlakonda is actually a historic place with a beautiful beach on the other side.
As we're discussing about the beaches here, I can always say that you should pick this place to spend some good time.
Apart from the historic place here, Thotlakonda beach on the other side of the road is very beautiful depicting friendship of hard black rocks with the sea from aeons.
This beach is exotic, clean, usually not much crowded. You can enjoy your time here.
This place can also be called as 'Mangamaripeta Beach'. It is less visited than other popular beaches in the city.
But it is a beach not to be missed in Visakhapatnam. It is at a distance of 20-22 km from the railway station.

BHEEMILI BEACH:
This is also the best place to find peace or solace.
It is located near Bheemunipatnam and is at a distance of 24km from Visakhapatnam. You can always have a pleasant time with your best ones.
The only sad thing here is, the beach maintenance wasn't good. So it may not be enough hygienic if you want to swim. Look out for yourself.
Try to visit this place in the early hours so that you can spend enough time.
SAGAR NAGAR BEACH:
This is located in the quiant neighbourhood of Sagar Nagar in the city and is at a distance of 9km from RK beach.
You can experience mesmerising sunsets and utter peace only in the absence of commercial crowds and this beach is well known for its golden sands.
The best time to visit this beach is in the early hours of morning and evening.
